This Friday Night the busty beauty, Katy Perry, is postponing her weekend concerts since she is currently suffering from food poisoning. Her publicists released a statement today stating that the Friday show at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill., has been rescheduled to Aug. 21 and her Saturday show at St. Paul’s Xcel Energy Center is postponed until Aug. 23. Apparently the food poisoning caused severe dehydration to the singer who performed ill at Summerfest in Milwaukee yesterday. The Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Summerfest says Perry had a doctor on hand who attended to her all day, but insists that she performed beautifully despite being sick. I bet everyone is just relieved that she didn’t throw up on any of the fans, mid-song. Talk about up close and personal.
The Teenage Dream performer apologized for the cancellations, but said she plans to give fans the best show ever when she returns. In the meantime, let’s hope her English hubby, Russell Brand, is taking good care of her and helping to make a full recovery. I mean, we already know he has a great bedside manner after all.
